Jen and I decided to can some pears. I now have a great appreciation for the bottles of yummy pears we get from Bruce's mom. I kept singing in my head, peeling a pear is NO fun to do, no fun to do, to do, to do! My hand kept cramping, and when we called Jen's mom to find out if there was an easier way to do it... she just laughed... when we told her we had bought 4 boxes of pears, she laughed some more! I think I will stick to peaches next time!

When paired up my bottles of pears look beautiful... was it worth it? I am not so sure, Brandon thinks so!
